The word 'health' implies that all natural processes in which life can exist are functioning at an optimal level in their intended alignment.
In general there are three types of 'health' - physical, mental and spiritual health. Each one is seen and treated as being separate as though they are non-related. For example, one might see a doctor for their physical health, a psychologist for their mental health and a healer for their spiritual health. It is only when we view ourselves from a holistic perspective that we realise that health actually is an overall state of being.
The body, mind and soul work as a system in which each part contributes equally to the whole person. When in balance, this system facilitates the natural flow of energy throughout the body, without resistance, and optimises our health on all levels. When out of balance, this natural flow is interrupted and obstructions occur leaving us more susceptible to ill health.
Healing is about bringing any imbalance into alignment with its natural state of functioning. Holistic healing looks beyond a person's physical state and acknowledges that the root cause of a physical illness may in fact be non-physical in origin. When we heal holistically, we address imbalances on all levels.
Each of the treatments I offer work on a holistic level and can be adapted to each individuals needs. Please click the links below for information about each therapy and how they may be able to help you.
